Gippsland Catch !!

Did anyone hear on the news that a dude caught 2 bream on the main street in Lakes Entrance ??

- Goes to show how adaptable they are !! - even in flood conditions !

Yep i heard that 2 bream and one flathead.

I feell for the victims of this act of nature, but at least some peole can take a light hearted look at it.

Property can be replaced , lives cant.

..they certainly are adaptable and hardy 'lil fish...didnt take 'em long at all to establish new dwellings in gippy...

i can tell you all that these stories are true. 1 lady even had a leatherjacket beach itself on her verandah. the local paper took a picture of it and she dropped it back in the water and swam away. there is plenty of debris in the water too. i was working at the entrance yesterday fixing the dredge pipes and i saw a cow float out the entrance
