Cheap bream platform - 12' v nose punt??
Hey guys
Am aniffing round at getting a tinny in the 3.7-4m range to deck out for calm water bream fishing. casting decks, storage etc etc Would a v nose 'punt' style be best in terms of stability/space? Most ive seen around the $2-3k bracket with a 15-20hp Any thoughts welcome! |

Here's your boat.........
Tinny or similar and a 15hp two stroke on the back ~$1000 s/h and a trailer and your on your way. I started with a 4.3 savage V nose Gannet with a 25 on the back and it did the job. No decks, storage or kota but I still caught fish. I used a sea anchor and picked my spots to drift down banks or across the flats. If your on a budget you have to start somewhere and being on the water is a steep learning curve. HTH BTW he's in melbourne too

hi mate cheers
i have found a 'stessl 3.7' which i assume is the edgetracker model. 15hp yammy, dunbier trailer, all 3yrs old Could probably get it for $2800 or so Sound like a decent rig? I know nothing about stessl! The hull appears punt-ish? |

All for under $3k - sounds like a good buy.
