How muck tackles you own???

I always wondered just how much tackle some of you on here own. Im talking about rods and reels, and lures. Just as importantly, how long has it taken you to aquire all of your tackle.
When I looked at all my tackle yesterday........I said to myself this needed to stop....
So how much do you guys have?
How long has it took you to aquire it all?
How much money would you say you spend on tackle a year?

I find it's best not to think too much about these things

If you start thinking about it too much, you'll start thinking along the lines of "this needs to stop" which doesn't suit anybody.

That reminds me, its time to get rid of a few hards i reckon, so i`ll make a pack up tonight (pending me remembering) similar to last time 50 odd lures and a few pkts of placcies and a few shimano boxes. So i`ll post it tonight.

Ive been buying nothng but lures for Exxy for the last 6 months and only replacing me favourite bream lures as i loose them.

Ive been collecting since the Mandurah Round just over four years ago. And my addiction seems to be be growing.

cheers

Yep have to agree Ducks.......its best not to think about it.

When I tallied it all up to insure it all I almost had a heart attack......It fills an entire room in my house and the girl at the insurance company almost didnt believe me as to how much it was all worth

Cant wait to get back home so I can use some of it

Put it this way, if I was to open a small tackle shop I would not have to buy stock for a while

A bloody hell of a lot, all up id estimate my total fishing collection to be worth in the vicinity of 8 - 10 grand easy, thats hooks, reels, rods, sinkers, tackleboxes, tools, gaffs ect ect ect every conceivable thing!

Been fishing since i was 14 living in busso catching herring and squid of the jetty, when you could actually get a fish there not like now. But ive just got serious about fishing again in the last few years, so my collection has taken quite a while to build up. But your always updating, well with a wife i try to anyway

bloody women and money, they dont mix!!

Ive seen people with well over $1000 of lures in a single tackle tray which is abit scary but in lures alone i recon most really keen fisherman would have between $2-6grand worth like Tim did, its made me start thinking about insuring it all .

Whats the insurance bills like for things that you cast into snaggy areas to catch fish that take you through even worse terrain once they're hooked?

You're not wrong mate...

20ecos here, 5 mira shads there, 20vibes here, throw a few TD lures into the mix, and there's 1k easy

I've gotta stop...

I have a serious Jackall TN 60 and TN 50 addiction that now stands at 55 in all, and I have mates that are now over the 70 mark - it's bloody crazy as I go bass fishing about 6 times a year.
At an average price of @ $26 that's @ $1300 alone!
As for the rods and reels, well...... there's always room for one more isn't there?
