New mooring?

And if you look out the left side you can see the Canning Bridge!

The passengers got a little bit more excitement on this cruise. I was watching it and pondering what his turning circle must be, obviously a bit larger than he thought! Combine that with the tide rushing through there, he was doomed.
Funny, but you have to feel sorry for the skipper.

Lucky not to have rolled over looking at the list to starboard!

Somebody's gonna have a sore ass over that one!

You really get a close up view of the land marks on that cruise.
When did this happen Nath?

Cheers, Dror

It was on the new last night. It was a paddle steamer and 150 on board. One lady had to be be taken to hospital. Fisheries and sea rescue came and took them on their boats. Some were just lifted onto the bridge. There was shattered glass and wood splinters everywhere on one side of the boat and furniture thrown around.

The wind/tide was blamed for it.

Thank God no one was really injured.

Thats the paddle steamer decoy not the MV perth. I was on it the night before this incident. Saw everyone crusing back to the weigh in when we went past MBSC. Gotta say I had no qualms what so ever with the skippers or anyones actions on the boat. They were very professional.

And the beer went down a treat

Its got the largest 16hp motor I have ever seen. Still in pristine condition. It was a really great evening on the water. As far as i remember....

Do you reckon this would have spooked the fish away?

Possibly, for about 30 seconds that is. Canning bridge would be a quite noisy spot under water anyway with the traffic going over the bridge. If you've ever been under the bridge you would of heard the noise cars and trucks make while driving over, all that noise would resonate down through the pylons into the water.
