Full Boar Boats

Any feedback regarding Full Boar boats would be appreciated. either the standered rigs or the finnesse rigs. Starlo seems to like his but I would to if it were on loan for free.
They seem like a nice rig.
Any thoughts.
Regards Scott

Nice boats Scott,

Have heard them described as a Big flat bottom punt, but they get around quite well. Ive fished from one a few times - and I certainly dont mind them. But for the $$ you`ll probably spend, there are a number of options to look at.

cheers

Great boats to fish out of, minimal draw, stable as, and very quick. I have fished out of Dror's and Spad's fullboars and they where the ducks nuts. Only 1 draw back, flat bottom can = very rough ride in sizable chop. The crossing in the Albany comp with Spads was fun but better than the trips I have done in a small hornet

cheeky bugger, Id look at the various Nitros, Stratos, Tritons etc and even the Pro Strikes simply because they seem and look a drier ride. But in saying that Id take a Boar over my Quinnie any day of the week......... so much faster....... so much drier. It all depends what you can afford, if your loaded look at getting something direct from the US as well. Options galore.

cheers

http://www.tackletour.com/reviewstra...xtpreview.html that Stratos looks alright, bit unsure about quality given the budget price of US$12,995 with all the electronics, motors, electric motor, worth a look IMO
