Hi Shortlite,
it started life as a Haines 4.90m Seaquell. but when you have a firbeglass shi boat builder for a mate anything is possible .

Cheers Samurai

I can see that!! And I thought extending fishing rod blanks was work....

Really good looking outfit. Pretty much what comes to mind whenever I think "bay boat". I like the wide gunwales especially, very like a flats skiff there.

Now how much did that baby set you back?

Awsome new boat, very inpressed with the finish, just wondering how fast does is it?

p.s. Your friend is obviously a very good Fibreglass builder, excellent finish

Nice looking rig dude

Is it just the angle in the picture or does the prop not even get all of the way into the water. Even with the tunnel hull??

From that picture it looks like you have it set up with the centre of the prop about water level and the cav plate well above water level.

PS: Nice four blade prop it is too

It's just fully raised with the jackplate there Leethal.

Bushido, what seating setup does it have? That's the only thing that's not clear from the pics.

That's what I was thinking Shortlite.
I'm sure it's just the angle the shot was taken on..or the way my head leans to one side

Either way, it's gotta be able to run in bugger all water

Hi Leethal,
Because of the slight concave tunnel, and the trim tabs the prop, when running in shallow water, sand bars/flats etc does not need to be below the hull. The boat will run at full noise in 5 to 6inches of water (mind you if you stop you stuck there )
