I use a 2000. I love it. Its basically a zooped up Capricorn but much much smoother.

Concidering a year ago they retailed $350 Id snap one up at there currant price. There a discontinued reel.

If they didnt weigh so much I would give them a 10/10 for there price.

cheers, Nathan

Make that 3....

Haven't had any problems at all with mine, great reel but probably a little heavier than i like... but then i have found expensive taste lately.

If they're cheap... grab one.

they sound pretty good, 1 lemnon and 4 non-lemons.
Maybe the only lemon was the one...

A good reel and from wot I've heard, it's not discontinued. So I don't know where that info has come from.

Quite hardy and smoothe. A nice top middle-end market reel. Drag pressure is nice as well. It can pull some good fish.

You'll be happy with that buy since you are looking at that reel.

They're not discontinued...

I have seen them available from several stores now, including DohDohDoh, Mossops, and so on. MO Tackle also have them.

They are in the latest Daiwa catalogue i picked up.
