A new BD

Ok all you BD users out there. I already have a 6'6 Bream Reaper 2-4kg which I use for both SP's and hard bodies. The time has come for another BD but there are alot of choices. Thinking of something in the 3-5kg range. Not overly bothered about the length or if its 1 or 2 pieces. More than likely be used for HBs. Any educated opinions would be very useful.

Cheers.

If you're after a stiffer blank, then I would go for the 6'6" Crankbait. Great rod.

Something more along the line for plastics would be the 7' Reaper.

Either is a good choice.

A 2-5 flats will belt a HB a mile

I would look at a longer rod if your after distance in your casting....

I have a 3-5 sniper which is good for skull dragging fish from in close!

Thanks for the advice fellas. Leaning towards one of the 6' models for more accuracy and the skull dragging factor.
Cheers.

If you're after a 6' model then the Sniper and Quickdraw are great rods at the stiffer end of the range. If you're fater one a little softer, then the new ClearCut Plus is the rod for sure. I got a demo from Cindy that lastly all of a day in my hands before Mullet bought it. It's ideal for smaller\lighter hb lures like vibes, Towadi and Jades.
