Shimano T-Curve
ANyone have any thoughts on the SHimano T-Curve - I've seen a 7foot model for $195, 2-4kg line; 1-8gms lure size?

Hi adriank
I think they all 2-5kg, 1-9g lure weight, in both 6'6" and 7'. I have 7' model, it is very nice rod for the price! I dont think you can find anyother rod that fitted with Fuji Sic guides for that price. You cant go wrong with the Tcurve(IMO). I havent use mine for little while now because I have upgraded to different rod now. cheers |

G’day AdrianK
I was planning on getting the same rod myself. They feel really nice and have a lovely action too. One of my mates fishes with that rod and he uses it for all his finesse applications. He normally uses squidgy flick baits with small resin heads. He swears by this technique and reckons that the Tcurves are the best rod for that price when used for finesse bream fishing. He casts the flick baits out, and lets them hover over the top of structure and in the strike zone. He then lets the action of the rod tip do all the work and has enticed some thumping big bream with it. For the price of the rod, you can’t loose. Good luck & tight lines! |

Kailo,
I got the 2 piece rod, which is 2-4kgs... you must have the one piece (2-5kgs)... interesting that there is a difference.
