Im planning to use 6" gulp sandworms but i was wondering if i should bother with hb's and if so what should i use in what colour?

I would suggest hardbodies will work a treat down at Walpole specially on the flats.

Gold/orange/black colours work well

Do a search on Walpole - there's hours of reading here

Hello James, hard bodies are alway worth a shot down there, try anything red, green, brown, gold or black and fish it slow and something is bound to show some interest.

If you're going to fish the rivers, the a few deep divers are also worth stocking. My fave is the Taylor Made Tiny Nugget in fluro orange, but some of the Jackall Chubby are worth taking as well. There are some good flats out near the channell markers that I would also try. Around the exposed little islands? often have bream swimming around them.

Either way, enjoy yourself. It's bream heaven for sure.
