iv got a rack raider possably the worst rod iv got
iv had to get 3 warrentys on it because the cork kept on splitting
go a penn pin point they are good rods and have a better finish then the rack raiders and u can pic one up for 120

sure, for the price you're looking at, you can't go past the Shimano rack raider if you wishing to target both bream and bass.

The Berkley Dropshot rods are in that range as well and are just as good.

If you get any rod with cork on it, it'll deteriorate with sun exposure and salt over time. To protect it, before you take it out, put 2 coats of varnish on them. it'll protect it forever, as long as you don't hack them.

I forgot, the other rod you should look at for the price range are the pfleuger trions. They are a great rod for bream and bass and although priced quite well along with the rack raider, it's worth a lot more.

If I did have a choice, I'd go with the pfleugers......

Jay, you want a very light rod to lick the bass......... I think that's not a good idea.......

go up a class kg of rod.
