Daiwa Heartland L v ML ???

Hi guys,

I'm thinking about buyin a new rod, and am looking at the Daiwa Heartland. I'm just tossing up between the L or the ML, was hoping to use it more for hardbodys as an alternate to the ProcyonZ that I currently have. Any advice would be appreciated.

Cheers,
itchyant

Hi mate I think the ''M'' and 'ML'' stand for light and medium light. What are the full rod specs? It will give us a little more detail so we can help you out.

cheers, Nathan

If you'r going to get a normal Heartland's I suggest against it. If I remember correctly they are the Heartland IM6's and compare in price to pfleuger's and Shimano bream finnesse's or rack raiders.

If you're going to get a Heartland's, save up for the Heartland-Z's Hama Special Seagake, or get a pfleuger. It's a very nice rod for the price and compares equally to a lot of middle end rods.

They cast HB's very nicely. They are very smoothe.
