I saw them in quite a few shops and I thought they have got to be pushing the boundaries of lure and baits even more than the gulps. The few that I saw looked more like "Breados" refer to: http://www.breammaster.com/forum/sho...threadid=11737

The colours on them are rather interesting too, the reddy ones look like grape flavoured lollies.

stay away from them mate
they are as stiff as with almost no action and stink worse than any plastic or bait for that matter.
i got a few packets for nothing from work and after using them i can see why they were free IMO

I agree - got two packets, and both went stiff very quickly despite being kept sealed in packet with air squeezed out.

Not banned at all

Bream Addict and Nathan

As you will notice from the ABT Tournament guide I like to keep up with the rules.

FoodSource lures (plastics) have not been banned by ABT. Nor to my knowledge has there been any discussion of it.

In fact FoodSource, (imported by Wilsons ), were a sponsor of the last Summer Sessions BREAM Classic Series.

I have just verified this with an ABT Director.

I suggest that

1. you post and apology and correction so that Breammaster is not liable to be sued (and you too)
2. that you check your facts first in future.

As for the product: I have used them. I paid retail for them and frankly have not had a lot of success. I am more interested in their biodegradability and have been conducting smelly experiments in my kitchen.

Guys,

Food Source lures have not been baned from ABT events despite what some people might be thinking or saying.

I just spoke with Bill Hartshorne Vic Bream Classics

He said "No No No defineltly not" when I asked him if Food Souce or any type of plastic had been banned.

These comps are part business and part "club" - none will ever ban a product you buy in a bag from the shelf IMO

Now dont try mincing prawns and flour and calling it a plastic lure ....

CORRECTION!!!!

Hi Guys

I would like to let the world know that the Vic Bream Classic Series is more than happy to allow and support the use of Food Source Soft Plactics in our bream classics if bream anglers choose to use them.

Heresay is a very dangerous thing. The opinions of a few anglers whether justified or not doesn't make a rule binding. Please read up on the facts or call the tournament directors of the events in question before making blanket statements like that guys.

Regards
Bill Hartshorne

Hi Gary sorry about the miss understanding. I have always (and so have allot of people I have talked to) been under the impression that they were always banned from ABT events. Its amazing how rumours can start

cheers, Nathan

Yes Nath

Its amazing how many urban legends there are in the fishing industry

If you don't hear or read something directly from the people that make the decisions never assume anything as gospel

Cheers
