visited Tranby House (which is on Swan River at Maylands) today and couldn't believe the dead fish along the foreshore.

mainly grunters/blowies, but also mullet, bonies, whiting and of course... blackies.

1 big dead blackie there would've been pushin' 2kg.

anyone know what the story is... algal/pollution??

didn't walk far, but the entire 300m or so of riverbank i did was lined with dead fsh and i 'assume' extends considerably further.

bloody hell though... have to see for yourself to geover the 'sad' to the angry and want irresponsible 'heads to roll' for it!!
