Toxic Fish
Anyone out there know how safe it is to eat Swan River fish?
After the recent allegations of a cover up about high dioxin levels in Sydney harbour fish its a bit of a worry eating fish out of the Swan. Can anyone put my mind at ease and tell me that fish in the Swan have acceptable levels of Dioxin and heavy metals. Did some of my apprenticeship at the old East Perth power station and believe me all sorts of nasties went into the river from that place. |

Nice to hear, I'll be giving it a miss in the future, how about migratory species flathead, tailor, herring and so on I would imagine that bream would be worse of all eating barnacles etc.
Why dont the appropriate authorities give this information freely to the public! |
