Fishing mags: which one are you subscribed to?

Pritty much the subject. I'd like to subscribe to a magazine which would have a lot of info re. soft-plastics fishing... and preferably wouldn't be specific to, say, NT or WA.

Can anybody advice please?

Thanks

i dont know any really but how i do tell that the mag is situated in the eastern states is by going to a tackle store/newsagency and looking at all the mags, flip through them, look at some locations with the articles and by doing that u can tell where the majority of the articles are from.
thats my orthodox way

Well I would reccomend WAFM due to the excellent quality of the photos which has been a feature right from day 1. The articles are well written and for the cover price (between $5 & $7 can't remember) its a steal.

The other mag I always get is Modern Fishing it covers the things I am interested in mainly bream and also has articles re what jigs, leaders placcies to use and when and the reasons why they are better etc.

I don't subscribe, but do pick up Modern Fishing fairly regularly.
I have a good squizz in the store, then buy if it has a fair bit of the stuff I'm into.

i like to read saltwater sport fishing and saltwater fishing as i find they do have a lot of tips and talk about what sort of lures to use where and when. Especially on flathead.

Thanks guys,

I'll check those mag's... It seems to me however that "barra, bass and bream" are WA-sepcific...

Thanks

Got TAG 06... a lot of bream articles like "Boatin' Bream", "Skinny Water Breamin'", "Bridge Breaming", etc, etc.

Got it from the newsagency... Do ABT members get it directly?

Nope Barra, Bass & Bream is Australia wide mate the only WA centric mags are Fishing WA, Western Angler, WAFM and Hotbite.

The rest NAFA, Modern Fishing, TAG etc are all eastern states based
