Lightbulb Perth Boaters Day, Saturday the 22nd March, 7:00am Coode st Boat Ramp South Perth

Ok all,
I have more than enough boaters to confirm the day.

So far thanks go out to:

GeoffP (Breamzilla )
Durko
Jimi
Jeff
Peter Bear
CraigS
JP
with the Bear Special bringing up the rear.

This means we can have about 14 non-boaters at the most at the moment, but any more boaters would be welcome.

Guys, please don't feel like this is for just any boater. There are more than a few good non-boaters who have plenty to offer as well.

The main idea, however, is to give us all a fair go and a chance to meet new people and provide an opportunity to check out how the different guys have decked out their boats.

These days\afternoons have been a great success so far and I hope to continue for months or years to come.

In the not too distant future I would alos like to organise weekend trips to places like Walpole, the Kalgan and so on. this is a good opportunity for us to share expenses ans get a trip that may not be available normally. More on that later.

In the mean time, see you next Saturday if not b4.

Many thanks,

Bear, I dont know how you worked out the 14 non-boaters, but I think with only my temp floor in (despite the engineering and construction skills of G Paulic) I'm probably only good for 1 passenger

Peter's boat is big enough to take 3 or so and 2 for the others and one for you and me. We can squeeze the extra 2 in if we stick to Herrison and the Narrows.

I also hope to have one more boater.

Sound OK?

Realistically I can only have 1 non-boater, thats part of the reason why Mim has opted not to join us, to give someone else a chance for a fish

Well guys. If its ok, id love to. If i get the cast off that is. I see the doc on friday so i will confirm it then. If i do go, chances are, it will be my first fish in over 10 weeks. So i'll be keen as!!!
Sorry that i can't confirm yet bear, as i know it makes it a bit harder for you. I am very keen though, and if the cast isn't off, i'll prolly go anyway!!!

Thanx Guys for giving us the chance.

Dave

No worries Dave.

We tend to run it on a forst come first in basis. What we will also do is swap people around if there are too many and probably swap around with boats to give people the chance to fish with different people and boats.

Don't be afraid to come along as a boater OR a non-boater. These days are to help every one.

Even in my boat, 3 anglers can get a bit tangled up around each other. Last time I took 2 other guys out on one of these afternoons, and the guy who got stuck in the middle found it hard to cast with someone on either side. 1 non-boater would be ideal, but depending on the number of people that show up, I could do 2 at a squeeze.

James.

Don't stress guys. We won't crowd the boats. In the end it depends on the weather.

We'll make sure everyone gets a go.
