new setup
i finnally got my new bream setup it is
a berkley drop shot one piece a shimano symeter2500fi and 4lb fins braid to top it off just wondering how the berkley dropshot is for both hard bodies and softies

Mate the berkley dropshot is an awesome rod.What length have you got?1-3 kg o 2-4kg?I have the 2-4 kg two peice 6'6 and its awesome.Luke_H has the 1-3kg, which is more suited to placcies.The 2-4 is stiffer, but can still flick placcies well, with the added bonus of being perfect for hb's.

My main rig is a berkley dropshot 7ft2 2-4kg with a 1500 symetre with 4 lb fireline and i guess ive nailed 150 fish with it, 89cm flathead, 49cm snapper , and 38cm bream, trust me son thats a killer outfit- fish beware ok, you will handle anything within reason,thats a good outift.

tanks guys i know what you mean rabbitho when it can handle anything i caught this salmon at port gregory flicking softies around the jetty the rod handled it great i caught it on a 2" atomic avacado gold colour it gave me a little workout
