oh bugger

my worst nightmare happened today. turned my 2 piece rod into a three piece.

id love to say it was on a 50cm bream but alas i was picking it up....honest....snapped the top section in the middle.

now i know why i got the innovator shogun.....gotta love the 5 yr warranty. went to my lts and they replaced the top section straight away. i love those guys

im now back to 2 pieces and going out in the morning.

cheers pete

I had one blow up on me about 8 weeks ago - but a 50+ cm Bass can do that to a rod

It was a Diawa ProcasterX Interline 14lb model, I may be in luck as the local tackle shop is going to talk to the rep about it

The car door ate my much loved Redington about 3 weeks ago. It is also now a 3 piece rod. I have been fishing 90% of my life and this is the first time I have ever had a rod get snapped! Guides have broken but I have never snapped one, hope it is not the start of something..............

Cheers
Matt

yeah i snapped my flyrod last wednesday, it broke just below where you connect the 2 pieces together. the funny thing was it snapped just after i had caught the smallest flounder i have ever seen!!!

luckily though it was a innovator and i get the 5 yr warranty, but i have to wait a couple of weeks until they ship it over from over east
