I have been using 2 okuma fina's for all my light work. they have been used on my sof bodz finese 7foot 1-3kg 2piece ( love the rod). These 2 reels have served me well but I have been thinking about upgrading because the finas are starting to get a little old. Every time I pick up a fina it feels heavy slow and bulky compared to some other nicer reels. my finas are probably a little big to for light work. I’m going to spool the new reel with 6 pound fireline probably targeting perch, bream, salmon, flatties ect. so my question is... I’m probably looking around the price $$$ of symetre, stradic or the diawa equivalent, penn, okuma any other brands that might take my fancy. Not sure on prices but I believe these reels sell for about $200 or more? So what’s everyone’s tips on reels should I pay bigger $$$ or less. What sizes 1000 1500 2000? What’s everyone thoughts on mid to lower priced spinning reels and what should I look for in a new reel for what I have mentioned.
Thanks a million Stuart

Mate I'm using an Okuma Inspira which when I got it retailed for $180 but I believe they are around $159 atm .... their a great reel, light, come in a small size for light bream spinning (size 15 I think it is) and I've had no complaints with it.
Check my avitar thats the reel there HTH Nathaniel
