and so do i!

and i could go bass/cod/siler/golden fishing in suburbia right now (if could be bothered).

however - glad i solved the mystery of the secret (private) cod hole.

the ocean's one thing, but the bush is my baby and it was pi##ing me off.

can relax now (mav onya).

hate having people shoving big goldens/cod in my face from this (WA) state without knowing WHERE!

however - this (a few natives floating about whatever) is good, but the way (logue brook dam) we are being stripped of all sweetwater fishing RIGHTS in WA is a huge concern and a couple cod in a farm dam won't come close to compensating US for our loss of such prime locations.

Harvey dam will be next (i predict in 12months the bastartds will give us rec' fishers another fait accompli).

ps - i might never fish that (not so secret now) cod hole, but i'm just glad (peace of mind) i know what the story is. everything from marsupial mice to cougars, from pygmy perch to murray cod, i'm fascinated by our bush and wanna know ever critter in it and where!

no sense of 'humour' some people.

great place, why not able to make money outta visiting rec.fishers i cannot understand.

poor old rayman didn't tell me , but he did reckon if i did my research 'properly' i could find it.

i'll sleep that little bit 'better' now that i've got my own (semi) secret little 'cod' hole up my sleeve.

edit -
and to those intending to pm me asking the location (1 already) don't bother unless ya own a brewery or can get me access to hunt a property over-run with pigs, deer, goats or... (negotiate based on those benchmarks).

forgive me sitting on this one for the time being...

he he.

It just goes to show everyone what sort of person you are .

I'm sure every one is going to hold back on posting pics etc of their special places because of this .

Thanks for killing it for all of us.

I don't post much as I don't know that much but if I found a good spot I will keep it quiet for sure now .

I don't know you or the other guy but you seem to want something to happen over this , hope it doesn't back fire on you .

I'm sure the property owner would like to know how you have gone about all this, and any other people with stocked dams.

Thumbs down

Monskie i don't think anybody rubed your nose in it at all. They simply put details of fish they caught and yeah they chose to keep the spot to themselves to try and protect the spot from it beeing overrun. Fair call really and totally understandable becuase your now rubbing it everyone else's face that you've got the spot and you've probably allready contacted the owner and you'll just ruen it for the original people. Poor form really in my book

And you first said one of the members gave you the details Why? Are you just trying to cause trouble becuase you then retracted that further on. Once again poor form

I'm not interested in any replie and i probably won't bother responding becuase i don't want to start anything here but mate just think about life abit thats all..No body really cares for that style of stirring...

Looks like HE wants to make something out of this knowledge , he wants to earn something off someone elses hard work , they put in the yards finding it and gaining access and now he's going to sell the spot to others , I just hope the farmer ( bless his heart) will see some of Darrens profits .

PS Darren NO BODY can tell when your being humourous or an A$$ hole .

ummhhh.. contacted the farmer - no, wrecked it for everyone here about posting about fishing spots..err - no etc etc.

phew...

this is a tavern and i've got worries in holding up a beer here with a cheesy grin and saying 'sussed it fella's'.

first thing i did before firts starting thread is contact macca.

at this stage macca is the only person i've told this place about and he knows.

anyway, keep having a tantrum if determined, it's only dragging out my giggle...

edit - by the way, rayman (i asumed he posted evrywhere) DID give me a big clue. ta.
