sick fish
hi sports fans
i have been fishing Ashfield a lot latley getting heaps of nice big bream friday night we got about 9 sized fish and heaps of little ones had the same result this morn heaps of fish but we noticed most of them had a furry white blemish on them some where a lot worse than others i was wondering if anyone else has seen a similar thing most fish where very lethargic BIG PETE

Hi Pete,
I fished the Blackwood for a couple of days last week. Didn't get many fish but the majority of the ones we did get had a lot of what I guess is Red Spot. In the Swan I have seen fish with a blotch on them but the ones we were getting had quite a few blotches on them and some were pretty big festering sores. One even had a terminator style red eye which had obviously been attacked by the disease.

i know the red spot your talkin about didnt see any thing like that unless this is the early stage of it have you got any idea what causes the red spot ,the water looks pretty good at the moment no signs of a realy bad alge bloom BIG PETE
