Petrol prices gone crazy!

Because of the Hurricane Katrina, petrol prices are going to hit the record high of $1.39 a litre for regular unleaded.. This is nuts!

On a different note, which Premium Unleaded petrol do you think is best for your car? Optimax (Shell)? Vortex (Caltex)? BP? Mobil?

Fuel prices are nuts....
As for premium fuels...I used to race MotoX and due to the rules, had to use pump fuels only. At the time (5 years ago) I stayed away from Optimax and Vortex and only used BP Ultimate 98. The others just werent reliable and clean. Optimax espically caused many two stroke riders some issues. Hopefully most of the problems have been fixed since then.

$1.69.9

Yep a bees thingo off $1.70 per litre on the way to Hedland Trial comp. Those guys with diesels were laughing their mammaries off.

Round trip cost me close to $750 for fuel, but thats chicken feed compared with the cost of the tackle I left up there.

Chunx, check out the Pajero Club of Victoria's web site, they had a long investigation into Ul vs PULP and depending on which state you live in all PULP could be made in the same refinery, so the story goes?

Some interesting results on consumption too!

Poor Mark
