Ulludalla to Batemans bay fishing spots?

Im heading down to Kiola with the Outlaws .. I mean inlaws for a week away in 2 weeks time. As i have never been fishing down there is there any good spots anyone could tell me to make my week away with the inlaws a little more enjoying..

Sounds like you will be the week before me. Our fishing club will be there 8,9,10 of July. We fished there last year off Brush Island and put in at the Kiola boat ramp. We caught heaps, 17 species last year. I have heard there is good beach and rock fishing there as well but have not tried that.

Acutally thats the week Ill be down there.

Be down there on the 3rd and come back home on the 10th

Probobly see you there then. We have rented a place in Bawley point and will be putting our boats in early each morning at Koila (if the weather is good). My boat is a 4.25 edgtracker so I will be in the smallest boat going to sea. If the sea is a bit rough Ill be fishing elseware. The other blokes have bigger boats so might have room if you were interested. My boat doesnt have much freeboard for more than 2 in the ocean.

Are you land based or do you have a boat avaliable.

Land Based..
Staying at the caravan park at Kiola

Im going to take my Beach rod, Rock Rod and Bream rod just incase.. there is any creeks and stuff down there.

I have been looking at fishing reports for the area and there seems to be a lot of reports for beach and rock fishing. I was not looking for land based spots last year when I was there as the weather was good and I took the boat out every day.

We did catch a squid within casting distance of the breakwall at the Kiola boat ramp though. We will be ariving on the 8 th but will be fishing on the 9,10,11, hopefully the weather will be good.
