Werribee River Social 26th June
Well its off to the Werribee river this month guys!
The Werribee river holds some of the best Bream in Victoria and have a reputation for being some of the fussiest around. That’s why we reckon its going to make the perfect location for round 2 of the Vic Bream Rounds. The river has a vast amount of Bream holding structure from shallow weed beds, Submerged Rock bars and marina’s. The location of the river is also another bonus for keen anglers travelling out side of Geelong and Melbourne. The river is very close by to shopping centres and Petrel stations making it easier to stock up on supplies. There has been a few big changes made this time round and we now have several new high profile sponsors for the Vic Bream Rounds so free give aways and prizes will be awarded to anglers on the day. At the end of the day there will be a free BBQ with sausages and hamburgers for the anglers to fill those empty stomaches. Stay a while and catch up with the fellow anglers. Share your days stories and tell us all how you managed to snare your bag. Details for the day: Date - Sunday 26th June Start Time - 8:00am - Finishes 3:00pm Start location - Werribee South Boat Ramp Finish location - Werribee South Boat Ramp BBQ location - Picnic Area just up from WSBR (will start at 3:30pm) and will continue till everyone is to full to eat! nice pics dave,they both scare me and excite me,its awesome breamin habitat but ive never had good results there,hopefully everything will change on the 26th of june.
BTW- i just went to the vicbream link in ur sig nath,thats an absolutely bonza job u did,awesome site mate,keep it up
