Lively Lures - Minis

Hi guys,
Sounds crazy, but I found a lure at the Kalgan River and tried it out for the first time the other day.

The problem I have is that I would like to see what colours are available, but the Lively web site only has the Mullets. The one I found is a Mini Micro or something similar.

Does any one know where I can find these on the net to purchase and check out colours and other styles??

Thanks,

I've got no idea where to find these either, but I saw this lure in action. It was a green and something else and the green looked absolutely superb in the water.

As for the action...tiiiiiight

Bear,

If you get time post a pic of it.

I know there is one called a "Bleeding Mullet" that is supposed to be an awesome Bream lure.

Hi Jim,
The Mullets of the Lively web site are 5" smallest. Not what I was looking for.

Check out the pic I have below. It is definitely called a Mini Micro. It's printed on the base.

I was able to read it off the picture
Its a good looking lure with a fair sized bib on it.

I bet the original owner cried over his beer that night.

Have you had any casts with it, yet?

That's why I want to get some more. They have a wicked action and when CraigS and I were haing a hrd time getting a touch, this thing was working fairly well.

I'm hoping to find some more colours.

I have one of these - black with glitter - and I agree about the action. Haven't given it a good workout yet though, as the Lil' Ripper (JG and PF) and Predatek Micro Min (purple thing) keep producing fish at a great rate. If you look at http://www.ausfish.com.au/lively/index.html there is a 2.5" mad mullet deep diver that looks very similar. My packaging was totally uninformative as to the name of the lure. Got it from Compleat Angler in Sydney. Haven't seen them elsewhere.

Cheers

Strewth

Bear,

I picked a few up from Getaway Camping and Fishing in Canning Vale a few years back, I doubt they'd have any now.

The micro mullets are great, they dive deep and have a real tight action.

Cheers,

Cole

Lively Lures make a "Lively Lures Mini Micro Mullet" , Bear. That could be one of them. Ask your friends at Campbells....they stock the bigger Mullet's I see.

There was a mention in a Fishing Monthly archive:

Sound like them Kevin.

Will have to give uncle Bob a call unless Warren has better connections.

This is the one and only lure i have like that. This one has micro mullet printed on the bottom. I'm pretty sure they are still avaliable. I think this one came from the complete angler in melb.
Brian
BTW this one is only two inches long.

The have a great action Cole. I was hoping to try out a few different colours.

I'll keep hunting.
