Nah they were the victims of the beer trap - I just hung them up in the garden as a warning to the other slugs

when store bought nets with weak frames wont do.......you need the net making jig for backyard enthusiasts:

helps if you have another net to copy the shape. you need to fill the tube with fine sand before bending to avoid creasing.

Some lovely metal work their JB - I recently had a crack at innovating with metal myself.

Found 3, 50kg, truck rims at the bottom of a cliff. Took 2 blokes and 20 mins to roll one back up the cliff.

But the results were worth it

Shouldnt need those back wheels as much as I do...

funny you should mention that.....I've had 3 brake drums sitting in the shed for about 3 years and I'm only just now getting construction of a pot belly underway.

Yeah we found the heavy metal rim was good at containing and focusing heat.

Not so good for radiating heat like a normal fire - but we didnt need the heat. Very mild evenings in the West
