Yeah I joined a Facebook group full of grandmas and they mainly use them to cover up ugly walls in their garden. There’s some super realistic designs out there.
And at $22 a shower curtain, it’s not going to break the bank. Once bunnings reopens and I can legally Obtain fence palings, I’m going to knock up some oversized picture frames and make the side of the shed look nice. This frame was made from junk pile fence palings and the shower curtain was stapled on with an office stapler - so there is room for improvement Last edited by yellow door 1; 10-09-2021 at 09:53 AM. |

Your shower curtain idea looks neat, well done.

Yeah I'm hoping the hedge will eventually fill in the gap but the curtain will have to hold up until it does.

Ahh great - just googled - is boiled linseed oil safe for cutting boards. The answer is no - only the unboiled stuff is safe
Looks like I’ll be cutting up a plastic chopping board and screwing that over the top Last edited by yellow door 1; 09-10-2021 at 03:11 AM. |

Recently bought this chair to make fishing on steep banks a little more comfy
But anyone, who’s used a chair on steep banks, will tell you - if you can’t get the back legs to sink into the bank to get it level - you are going to have a bad time So I just jerryied up this little post hole digger. No more un-level seating for me Last edited by yellow door 1; 10-10-2021 at 03:31 AM. |

….Would also work as a trenching tool for different style chairs and a good "carp whacker" if it was made from heavy steel

My Mate who turned this - into this - is more concerned with how it looks that how it functions as a fishing vessel
That means no useful rod holders on the boat |

Hes been sending me videos of him fishing for whiting with his rods just lying on the floor and draped over the gunnels. Its been doing my head in
He doesnt even want a few rail mounts - where you can pull the holder out and just leave a small female part attached to the rail So I've been trying to come up with a quick install/uninstall holder, that would leave no trace on the boat when he wasnt fishing Although prototypes are ugly as sin. It wouldn’t take too much effort to smooth out the rough edges Last edited by yellow door 1; 17-10-2021 at 08:17 AM. |
