First post and first ?EP

Hi from the NSW Central Coast.
I went for a quick session after work taday and caught this fish from one of our local lagoons.
As I first saw the fish, l thought it was a small bream, but once it was landed, it clearly was something else.
I’ve never caught one before, but I believe this is a nice little Estuary Perch.
Anyone able to either confirm this or tell me what it is?
It was returned to the water immediately after the photo, and swam off vigorously!
Caught on a zberkley 3b FatDog in Snoop colour.

Regards,
P.Rye

Nice, welcome to the forum.
those berkley fatdogs were 5bucks at anaconda as well.

I bought a few but haven't had much success on them as yet but figure they're the same as the other 4cm fatbodies

those EPs tend to be less picky than the black bream down here in vic.

cheers
