Ps the mate who did my old boat up said he would never paint outside again - bugs landing in the wet paint and the wind catching his thin plastic drop sheets and sticking them to the paint were to the 2 main reasons.

It still turn out awesome but he said painting outside is a not fun and you have to be hyper vigilant as it dries so nothing gets blown on to it

Id be keen to seen some time lapse of the painting if you can be stuffed when the time comes - the transformation from those coats of paint is worth recording

i never remember to set up the gopro and do a time lapse... maybe for the painting i will. but not promising anything

when i do get around to painting it i'll probably go buy a cheap single car "carport" and wrap it in a few plastic drop sheets as i don't have enough room in the shed to paint the hull properly.

Start in the morning and dont leave any bug attracting lights on near it when it dries
