Thought it was about time for a fishing theme with my pallet work. Time for a new rod rack. Holds 15 rods. Not quite finished, but looking the goods.

New addition to the fly tying table. Had some spare rollers and added a retractable table for materials etc.

Bewdiful Bear - when I see a thing of beauty like that I begin to question my own abilities as an Innovative Ideas man......but that never lasts for long
![]() I was out in a 2.5 tonne rig with a displacement hull on Port Phillip bay the other day. The wind was variable and gusty and were were getting blown all over the place. With 6 lightly weighted silver whiting getting dragged over a 75m arc - there were a few tangles. We spent just as much time untangling as we did missing snapper runs Thats when it hit me - this rig was in definite need of a bridle..... Last edited by yellow door 1; 14-01-2016 at 06:48 PM. |

I jumped on the net and sussed out how other people do it. But I had a choice of safety and spending $40 ....or spending no cash and having it ready for the next session

we also had an issue with no stubbie holders.
I was riding to work and saw this on someones nature strip - My bike wheels werent the only things that were turning. My mind cogs clicked into over drive and I set about remedying the problem. Didnt take long to get the parts together Last edited by yellow door 1; 04-12-2015 at 10:01 PM. |

But as I looked at them from a distance they reminded me of another Aussie Legend who made some stuff from other stuff he had lying around the shed
