These knife sharpeners take off a lot of material and shorten the life of your knife but...........

They can put a sharp edge on a knife very quickly and take seconds to master.

I love em almost as much as guys who sharpen the proper way, love their stones😉

This $4.50 Jarvis walker unit from Kmart is performing very well. It won’t last forever but I’ve used a few more expensive sharpeners of this style and the JW is on par or better..... so far....time will tell but I’m impressed so far
