I'm looking forward to the X7 series. From source abroad, they are among the most sensitive MB rods to date.

I have been testing the Cyclone Advantage for a few months now, they are everything you would expect from a megabass. I really like them, the only hard part is trying to work out which one will be next...

On another note, who is jumping on the Gaus or the FX68? I would like to hear some on water experiences before I make my mind up on these, considering the less than awesome review the T3 got...

I live in melbourne, mostly fish land based in the yacht clubs, sometimes I go out in the bay to have some fun on the pinky snapper. When i go to gippy lakes during the holidays i fish everything that i can find and I currently run a 1-2kg nitro ultra bream finesse and a daiwa luvias 2004. Sooo I kinda need an all round rod good for surface lures, hardz, soft plastics and vibes. I was going to fit it to my luvias 2004 or my daiwa ballistic 2000 to the rod that u might suggest to me!!
Cheers michael
Pretty much the Deep Throat like others have said. Ultimate all rounder IMO.

Maybe a new Kirisame. The F0-63XKS Kirisame might suit. I haven't used one of these yet but it should do everything you want it to. Depending on what top waters you like to throw. If you like small topwaters most F1 Megabass rods will be a little stiff for working them properly IMO.

Hopefully I'll have enough spare cash soon to get a new Kirisame and a Gaus 20X....

Has anyone used the hedgehog destroyer baitcaster rod?
http://www.megabass.co.jp/products/b...3st-63x-1.html

Whats the difference between the Destroyer and the Destroyer X7?

Im looking for a rod to match up with my Hedgehog Zonda. So something that can cast lighter bass lures but has decent power to turn fish from the snags.

After a new rod so after some advice from
The well informed mb guys.
Rod needs to be suitable to throw and work small Jackson t-pivots
Stick minnows and bent minnows.
Cheers
