Prop size 40hp yammy

Hey guys need a little help I have a 2014 4.2 renegade with a 40hp enduro yammy with the standard prop 11 5/8" 11g would do about 40kmh only having to use half throttle before motor was over reving wouldn't bother if there was myself or 2 mates in the boat.

I was suggested 10 3/8 13g and I only gained 5kmh and still is around 1/2 throttle before over reving

I spoke to the dealer again today and he then suggested to go up to 11 3/4 17g to get to the 5000-5500 rpm range at WOT so I'm waiting for it to come in

I've done some research and haven't seen anyone with similar set up and with a 17" prop

Would there be a reason why I need such an aggressive prop? The cavitation plate is a bit low but I'm positive that would affect it

Any advice would be appreciated
