At the moment its just a theory but surely this has got to stop issues with these stainless steel mounts slipping under pressure - heavy duty out door double sided tape - one wrap around the rail and clamp over the top

I was today years old before realising rod holders can be used back wards and forwards
Handy for rigging up and changing baits or when you need your rod pointing north |

A bloke on Facebook was questioning my genius saying that a decent fish would pull that Rod out of the holder. So I sent him this pic. He claimed I had dug my rod into the ground

So then a vid had to be made before my genius was finally acknowledged

Yeah its one of those discoveries that could have saved a lot of hassle over the years If I’d known my rod holders could fish a rod in an almost vertical position - I wouldn’t have built these heavy monstrosities Last edited by yellow door 1; 22-10-2021 at 04:36 AM. |

A bloke on facebook just mentioned that flatties have a bad habit of riggling around like maniacs, even if you spike em before they spike you
So a single prong wasn’t going to cut it introducing the “double pronged flatty jabber” One spike for the brain and the other to keep their heads in the one spot. Makes unhooking easier and also easier to lift them into the esky just have to sharpen and glue and it’s done |

Just added some custom curved tips to mine
So when they go in and you twist- it acts like a blender |
