Bait caster without internal brakes

Re-low profile bait caster with out the internal brakes..
I'm trying to understand these reels which only have the external magnetic brake adjuster, are they used for only light weighted lures or all size weighted lures.
Is there a advantage only having the external brake in saving adjusting fine tuning time, hope someone has used or got them in explaining there use
Or
What about the reel which only has internal centrifugal brakes without the magnets and has adjustable centrifugal brakes from the outside adjuster knob,no need to take off side cover.LEW's BB1 pro reels have got that set up not sure who else has.

They're used for deep jigging, hence no need for cast control, brakes, etc...

Quiet a few Shimano and Daiwa reels without any sort of cast control friction or otherwise aimed at the shallow water jigging market...

Unless your a Yoda of the thumb control world good luck keeping a spool under control...

Shimano and Daiwa seemed to do a handshake agreement where they swapped friction and magnetic cast control between each other (including worm and loco oscillation)...

Magnetic cast control is quiet fine compared to friction, it comes on linear rather than instantly like friction. One half dozen between the two imho, less to go wrong with friction though...

Played around with a few i bought to see what they felt like (Daiwa,Shimano,Quantum,Kastking)Didn't like the Daiwa and sold it,the other three either had centrifugal, magnetic or a combination of centrifugal and magnetic.

Another odd one 4th reel had the digital computer which wasn't as easy as they advertised in casting.
Also noticed manufacturer brands change which type of spool control they'll run in the next model which can be completely different from the last one.

Some of the new reels this time are LH wind just to try something different and so far so good with the change over.
