Not Bad -

I've got a heap of those hooks, a hammer and some split shots - might give it a crack.

I love the idea of an aggressive stand up jig - especially for 6 inch worm presentations - what could help a bream make up its mind quicker than a 6 inch worm beginning to burrow into the sand.

And from my spear-fishing days......... - the easiest time to hit a "king george whiting" was when he was feeding with his face buried in the sand.

But I havent really tested this thoery with stand up jigs.

A mate said he wanted some rocket launchers for his rig - He wanted 3 on each side, down the back of the boat - too easy I thought.

So I set about trying to find a solution

The 45 degree slant may be problematic - So I've rigged up some horizontals aswell

And I havent ruled out a minimalist approach either.

The biggest take home message from this is - dont break your own golden rules.

Never paint a dodgy bit of DIY, until you are 100% sure its going to work

Yeah - After some heated deliberation - the client and I, have decided that I should make doubles of every variant - and bring all my "Irwin Quick Grips" for the dry fit

That word "adjustable" burrowed into my brain like a tick.

So I chucked all my ideas out the window and grabbed a few of these 360 degree swivel mounts

These things tick all the boxes. Easy to remove - fully adjustable - and the base plates leave a very small foot print when not in use. And as a bonus - they can be used as rod holders while fishing
