Lunker City Hellgie
Hello Guys.
Bored here in the Snowey US. Thought I would round up some sp pictures that may do good for bream. This one is called a hellgie and it is made by Lunker City. It comes in a ton of colors and the 3in version would work well on a 1/16 or 1/32oz jig head. I will PM the info to Ian and Bear and maybe they can get them in the shop. Ranger 175C/Brian

Hiya Brian.
The Hellgies are available here, they're awesome on our bass and estuary perch. Unfortunately most of the LunkerCity plastics are hard to get here. I've had salad spoons on order for months.

SP number 2
Here is a nice 2.5in sp called a crappie critter. It is a nice small creature bait. I use these on a 1/16oz lead head jig with a size 4 hook and it works very well. You have to just slighlty lift the bait and it starts to wiggle.

Did not know they were there. Sorry to waste you time. The one sp I want to show I can't get a picture of. It is called a Stanley Wedge tail. It comes in 1.5 in and 2.0in and has a great tail action for Bream. Are there any lure you would like to see posted?

brian have you ever used, spoon type lures for crappie/bluegill
, ones like the mepps timber doodle or the rapala spoon? i think the rapala spoon might be a bit big but the timber doodle isnt bad and it has the sp on the end for added attraction

Post away Brian. We don`t get the Lunker city plastics here in WA. I would love to see some of the others that are available. That crappie critter looks good.

That creature bait could be good in a tourney, they have a few colors that are translucent and would mimic a shrimp or sand worm fairly well, at least a US shrimp or sandworm. You would think I know Bream fishing in AU. I am just a US sp fisherman who is dreaming of coming to AU and fishing away a month

The smaller timber doodle does indeed work, I have caught some on it. I really like the mepps cyclops spoon size 0 with a small 1 in twister tail on it. It could work well for your Bream as well.

Brian, what size are those sandworms. They look the goods. Could maybe cut an inch off them for bream.

Sandworms
They are 8in long. I am looking to see if anyone makes a shorter one. I have a killer shrimp lure that just popped into my head it is made by D.O.A lures. It is only 2in long and it would be killer on Bream I think

Bugger. 8 inches is definitely a bit big for bream. We have the D.O.A products here. I have a couple of the shrimps but have not tried them yet. The crabs look good but in my opinion are a little too bulky. The problem is that bream only have small mouths so anything they cannot fit in their mouth properly will just create frustration from missed hits. We need a nice little crab pattern that is only one and a half to two inches long.
