Unhappy cruel, cruel world!!

oh how things change, after deciding that i wouldnt mind a new bream setup i had saved up a worthy amount (for me anyway) to get a new rod.only $155, but thats a raider or sicstick etc. anyway, a call from totally sound saying my guitar amp repair pulled $55 away form me, but i wasnt worried, campbells, raiders for $99. And then mum delivered the killer blow..."oh kyle, you owe me $100 form chrissie shopping!!" no rod for me

oh well back to the drawing board

Kyle

Sorry to hear that Mini Muzz ... hey Muzz seems very keen on the whole family getting into this sports. If I were you I'd tell him that now he is in comps he has to upgrade his gear, that he need some Black Diamond rods, some new reel, etc etc and that you'll buy his stuff off him for a reasonable price!

Talking Good thinkin 99!

breamdreamer, that is a great idea, the sic stick isn't too bad. Maybe i should put that to him. the only thing is, if he could get a black diamond, he would, theres one little thing stopping him. Mum! hehe Fishman, i am currently using a daiwa heartland im6 with an avenger av20, i dont need one urgently, i just wanted a stiffer rod. but syaing that, i blanked today, so,hmmm, maybe a new rod would help, hehe. Why, do u have some gear you wanna rid yourself of??

cheers, kyle.

Fathers should pass down their fishing gear to their sons, to help them, free of charge! It helps them feel they have played a part in their sons success!

Just don't outfish him too often!

Talking nice

i like the way you think bluefin, i agree. Whats not to like, free gear. nah, i am very lucky that dad actually bought me my heartland and avenger 20, fist bream setup. Even if dad got new gear, he would keep his old for him, and i dont blame him, i dont think you can ever have too many bream rigs.

chers, Kyle.

I aggree Bluefin. What would us parents rather see our kids get into Fishing or other misleading ways. That isn't a bad outfit Mini Muzz be patient. If I could sell the Loomis, Tica TLD combos quick enough I would give you the Custom/ Cappy combo.

yeah i like my setup alot but i also wouldn't mind another rod that is a little bit stiffer than my im-6. It is a very nice rod though and matches up well with the avenger.
