I took the new HL-Z out last night & today for a fish and god damn is it so so sweet. For those that don't know I kept dropping hints a couple a weeks before chrissy that I wanted a HL-Z Saegake Hama special and the GF ended up taking the bait
I was able to cast 1/32 weights so smoothly and effortlessly. I even nailed a 28cm fork length bream. All I need now is a 2000 Luvias or Certate as I don't think my Capricorn does this rod justice. I highly recommend this rod to anyone considering a new finesse rod. |

What does a Luvias or Certate do that a Capricorn doesnt?
Without looking at the price tag, they are all the same! Good marketing at Daiwa |

It's a sweet rod that Saegake. I have a Luvias 1500 on mine and certainly wouldn't want to go any bigger than that. A Capricorn would be way to big.

All I had to do was spin the handle on a Certate and I knew. |

The Certate practically winds itself. My 2500R-Custom is the smoothest reel I've ever fished with.
