Just have to be careful guys. Subject with young-uns mainly, we do have a lot of young poeple via the site. The other thing to be careful of is long threads.
It makes it very slow for those of us not on a fast connection. If you want to chat between just the 2 it might be better done via e-mail or ICQ, that's all. Nothing wrong with general group chat. Just rying to make it easier for all of us

There weren't many people on the other day so i didn't think much of it, now i can see your point. I'll be using msn from now! Also, i think i might make a breamin chat line on msn one day! Put the link on whenever someone wants a chat!!! Dave

Good idea many people like to chat (Stevie included) so a msn or irc channel could be a good idea.

Broadband is also handy for downloading backups and other stuff

My dial-up is currently connected @ 44kbps and I have no worries viewing any posts - just lucky I guess

FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have been using ADSL for about 5 months as JP works for an ISP here in Perth. I tried to use my parents comp the other day and could not believe how slow it is. I thought there was somethiung wrong with their puter.
You can download 10 megs in about 3-4 minutes Mim

Worst thing is that I go from cable connection at work to slow dial up at home.

We have currently got a dial up connection with a speed of 42.6kbps. So i have no probs. But i will be getting broadband very soon!
Yeah Baby. ONe prob is that hackers love it. My friend has it and had 100 hacker attempts on his computer in the first minute of operation. Scary hey!!! Just use high security! Dave

Mate its 30-50 times faster, evident by my use of the Dola map page, what would take 5 minutes to load up would now take 15secs.... awesome speed - and about time as well, Id nearly say quicker than my work... and we have an awesome system here Eddept. At $90 per month, it would want to be mighty fast..... and is. mmmmm now to learn how to maximuize the speed for other uses. Rack up the movies I reckon..... and Davo we`ll have to talk about getting those Bass Tournaments to me for the PC. Cant wait cheers richo
