Hooks for Rebel Craws
I have noticed the hooks on my rebel craws have started rusting pretty badly because i didnt dry them off very well one time when it bucketed down while fishing and opening my plano box made half my lures get saturated but only the rebels rusted. Any one know what hooks i can get to replace them?

I would go the Daichi 8110's they have good hardness and are very sharp. They seem to work well on the trout and natives for me. But I would rather Owner Cultivas if I could get them.

DAGGA, the same scenario happened to me too
All the rapala minnows that I have, rusted! I replaced them with some vmc's and they are fine now!

I prefer the Owner Stinger size 14 when I can find them, but they're hard to get.
The old Eagle Claw 2X in size 12 has a short shank and does the job pretty well until they rust.

Owner make the best hooks - no doubt - whatever the application IMO. Bloody expensive though. In WA you can get them from the Bluewater stores. I am lucky enough to live only a couple of minutes away from one.

On a small HB like the Rebels, I'd go the VMC red in a size 12. Nice fine, light treble which shouldn't effect the swim of the lure.

Is there any way you can prevent your hooks from rusting. Except for the obviuos. Any thing you can leave em in or spray on them?

try not to spray ur lures with any things like wd-40 or anything like that, instead when u use that hard body, leave it outa ur box or ina seprta compartment, so the rust won't get to ur other lures, also take it out when u get home and throw it in the shower with all ur other gear that u are washing down
