Worth every cent you paid for it and more.. I reckon. It costs more than your average mono line but you get MUCH better value for money using than if you're hoping to save that few bucks using mono line. It doesn't come close to it in comparison. Its that good.

I think it is safe to say that the vast majority of serious bream spinners use fireline. Those that don't use a similar product from a competing brand and would have used fireline at some stage. It is the benchmark line for bream spinning.

PS Most people go for the 4lbs fluro green stuff. The 6lbs is also very good.

Fireline is the bomb, there are other option but I haven't tried anything else since changing to Fireline several years ago.
I use the 4lb pink stuff.

I think this question has the most straightforward answer ever... with rods some prefer Loomis (like me), others swear by Back Diamond (not me) , yet others prefer Sicstik, Millerods get a good following too, each swearing by their choice. Reels are the same, some prefer Daiwa some Shimano, there's even a contention on which Daiwa is best, some say Luvias, some Capricorn, Shimano people swear by the Stradic... then there's soft plastics. Some love their atomics (like me), some say Squidgies suck. others will almost kill you for saying that. Then there's that debate on bass minnows (stick style) SPs vs single tails vs paddle tails... But one thing we all agree on is that WE ALL use Fireline!

Yeah I have to agree, Fireline rock's and they have a new XDS Firline on the way too and this stuff sounds awsome from what i have heard!

Gave the Fireline XDS a run over the weekend, just like normal Fireline turned up to 11 very nice indeed

I was using the 8lb but the diameter feels more like somewhere between the 4 and 6....... give it a go

Hey guys, anyone tried squidgy braid yet? It's supposed to be better than fireline and wears better... I might change to that when my existing fireline needs replacement. Cheers!
