I get great results on the little grubs, especially this time of year. The bummer is, since berkely minnows are so effective the lil grubs don't get out so often.
Try putting a few of the red grubs in a bag with a few greens, turn the lights down, put some sexy tunes on and leave them to get aquainted for a day or so. The colours will blend to a dirty brown colour. If you fish in clear water, the dirty brown grub will produce the goods.

Ballina has similiar waters to what I fish in. The Browns and red colours will work very well. If you retrieve them slowly along the bottom they will mimic a bloodworm. The whiting will love em as well. By the way, If you leave the grubs in a warm place, the colours will mix quicker

Hey Dagga

here is a quick tip for you and the other pups who post on this site often.
I thinks it's great that you use the computer and post many replies and threads. However, I fear that you guy's are slipping into a habit that may be very difficult to kick.
Call me a fuddy duddy if you wish, but correct spelling and grammar are very important. If I may be so bold to suggest that when you post anything, read through what you are writing and ammend it where you see fit. It will help your schooling whilst you are playing with your hobby. Your mums are probably delighted to hear you clicking away at a keyboard rather than a sony playstation, make them proud and spell correctly.
It may seem trivial today, but tomorrow when you apply for that job that you really want, it could well give you the advantage over the other applicants.
No disrespect guys, just some food for thought.

Talking Guilty as charged Father Bear.

That's a fair cop Mr Forward and thank you for correcting me. To this point I "HAVN'T", correction "HAVEN'T" made too many spelling errors (unlike your signature, tee heee).

I believe you have a new addition to your family. Congratulations to the mother and you. I trust you would endeavour to ensure your pup understands, grasps and utilises the english dict.

Manners may maketh the man, but manners, grammar and spelling maketh the gentleman.
