Luvias 2510 PE

Am window shopping and Luvias is high on the wishlist.
Looking at 25xx's and came across the 2510PE.
Im assuming its a shallow spool suited to 10lb braid i get that but what does the PE stand for.
Some of the other reels in the range dont have the PE suffix and this is what is confusing me.

I think the pe designated spools have a reverse taper. Or at least one that is different to the non pe spools.

From Daiwa

"PE– letters that most anglers are use to ‘PE’ denotes that the spool is built specifically with polyethylene lines (PE) in mind. Designed to tame line on and off the spool, and eliminate the issues that PE line can often give anglers."

Not asking you specifically, but what is different on a PE spool compared to a normal spool which makes it better to handle PE line?

I'm sure you know, but just to clarify, the 25xxPE isn't in lb rating, but PE rating. So a 2510 is suited to PE 1 line, 2508 to PE 0.8 etc. The PE-lb difference isn't much though, so in most instances it's good enough.

I'm not sure of the exact difference in spool though. Interestingly I've never seen a 'PE' suffix on a 2000 or 1000 size reel.
