upgrading trebles

gday

ive seen lots of lures lately with larger rear trebles and the middle one removed. im sure theyve talked about what sizes to use on this site but cant find anything on it. So what size treble would u put on a scorpion 52, 35 or laser pro for example.

cheers

Size 10 for the Scorp 52s and Laser Pros, dont be afraid to use the owner 8`s either...

For the 35`s Id look at size 12, or 10 if your only using one treble.

you can use one or both size 10`s on the scorp 52`s, depending where you are fishing as whether Id run 2 trebles. I have been pretty much fishing 1 treble everywhere latley.

I must admit, I never use anything bigger than the Owner Stinger size 10. Even on the 68 and 52 Scorp. I find downsizing from the delivered trebles makes a big difference.

If fishing 2 trebles Id have to agree with Bear and say 10`s are the go, gama or owner you cant go wrong, and I only ever consider an 8 when fishing 1 treble.

cheers

Keep in mind of course that Owner and Gama trebles are a different size for the same number than VMCs and the like.
