Daiwa Rod Repair - Melbourne

Hi guys, just came back from a trip where one of my favorite rods, a Daiwa Heartland got a bit of damage; Not really sure how it happened because I don't normally hang my lures on the guides and such, could have been a bit of flying debris on the freeway.

The chips are quite sharp, so want to do a repair. Not sure how to go about it, is it possible to get it sent back to the manufacturer, or get it repaired somewhere locally?

Cheers
Pat

Any rod builder can easily replace a guide.

^^ Im with Manno.

Buy all the necessary gudebrod, flexcoat UV and the guide, change it out yourself.

Easy

Here's my work all done at home and by hand. And a picture of some of the stuff you'll need to get started.

Mate if you don't want to do it yourself take it to your local tackle store they will be able to do a basic repair like that if they cant find a new store.
