I'm keen.

Regardless of marketing nonsense, I'm thinking that it's going to be a good reel. Wonder if they'll be easy to strip down to the gear box?

The spool looks similar to that of the 14 stella.

Not much info on the reel yet though. No idea what non JDM model would be called, maybe you are right.

Defiantly a good buy for under 250 no mater who will or wont touch them im itching to get them into work need a new reel for my expride my sustain needs a rest

Hey chased jewies in lake Macquarie day and night last weekend using the new 3000 and 4000 stradic. Super smooth and so nice to use. No jewies unfortunately but plenty of big salmon to test it out. The 3000 balanced so well on my 6-12lb samurai reaction. And the larger drag knob feels great when doing quick adjustments. Cant really fault it for the price but time will tell I guess.
