Suffix or Fireline 832

I need some new line and with a couple of new reels on the way my budgets not looking to flash I'm after 6lb and 15-20lb in 300 mtr spools.
Has anyone used both these lines, if so, some feedback on them would help me greatly

There was a good review on the Suffix 832 with Gore fiber on Tackle Tour, abrasion tests show it was pretty good.

I like fireline myself especially the Exceed (have a good 40 year supply now) - people be a hatin on it for all manner of reasons... But its honest stuff.

I liked the Suffix 832 that came on JGarners Stella 4000SW also - would like to try it one day but have purchased myself into a hole with Fireline.

If budget is pretty slim why not try some ebay import stuff ? i reckon it will outdo suffix or fireline.

hahah just the mistake mate. 832 is a pretty nice line to use, very smooth and round. Never used exceed.
Only thing with the 832, if you are looking at the 6lb I'm pretty sure it's only available in a 4 strand version (I think i've heard you can get it in an 8 strand (jdm version perhaps?))

I'd throw Power Pro in the mix.

Fairly cheap and of decent quality. I used 3lb for bream, no problem. To me it feels better than Fireline.

Can't comment on suffix, however it seems to be quite popular in the US.

Cheers

I'd go super pe over fireline or suffix. I tried the 832 and found it horrible. Maybe it needed to be worn in more but I wasn't taking the chances.
