Mallacoota, VIC

The Great Southern Loop road trip we went on saw us stop in at Australia’s Bream fishing mecca, Mallacoota in Victoria. The area had experienced a hell of a lot of rain prior to our arrival (apparently over 7 inches), so that made things a little tough due to the dirty water which can be seen clearly from the aerial shots at the start of the video.Have a watch of how things unfolded over our 1.5 days at this destination.

Nice vids guys i watched all three. Obviously brogo would be slow going during winter and no take, however is it still open ? i know in South east queensland all the trophy female usually come in the winter months.

The tamboon one really pissed me off hearing you talk about all the locals taking 30 fish at a time all over 35cm

A lot of bogans down that way i bet they were all sitting there in their cuddy cabins with their 4000 size shimano from 1995 with a 6ft 10kg rod and 20lb mono with a big old pille on the end calling it fishing.
